This is my 1977 Yamaha DT400B
The bike was Registered in the UK at Padgett's Motorcycles in Batley, on the 8/02/1977. The bike had three previous owners when I bought it in 1995. Since then it has been fully restored, and as many of the parts are obsolete tracking down the parts proved to be very difficult. A few parts such as the exhaust & front rim were tracked down to the USA over the internet.
The cylinder head and barrel are powder coated in the above photo's. This looked good but had to be removed and painted with PJ1 because it had started to melt around the vibration rubbers. UK Sales brochure.
